Does anyone know where to find the original story?

I've been searching too. I haven't found it, but I got some more info that might be helpful. The original title is Tohimu written by Ayako Fujitani (the actress who played the lead role, in case you didn't know). It's an autobiographical short story she wrote about the pain of growing up in a broken home and her isolation from family & society (parents divorced when she was 4, and being multi-racial she wasn't accepted by either Japanese or American community). That's all I got :(
