disappointed wanted to like it

I have enjoyed several of this director;s films (l.69,watchmaker of st paul,a weeks holiday)I bought the dvd of this since it was not on for long at my localarthouse cinema (they prefer to show AMERICAN INDY crap).
The film is slow and lacks intersting scenes,I think even a French person would struggle with the background unless they were film experts.

I am glad I saw it but the look of the film impressed more than the content.
