The Journeyman

How would one go about viewing this movie. It doesn't seem to be in the theaters or on VCR, DVD, etc.

reply

I found it in DVD format a walmart.com

After searching long and hard I did find it in VHS but for over $20 and I for one will not pay that much...

I just ordered my own DVD copy off of Half.com for around six and a half bucks, and they had some more similarly-priced copies for sale.

Now if you should want to call me, use this number. This other one is the old number.

reply

Oh yeah? I just bought a used copy for $1.00!!!!

I first saw this flick on cable and it stuck in my mind for some reason. It's truly very dark, and it's a real treat to know that the DVD has a director's commentary track on it.

It would be great to see a sequel where we follow the tribulations of the Journeyman.

They were Nazis Dude?

reply

Congratulations! But have you tried to listen to the commentary yet? Holy smokes! There's no dip in the in-movie soundtrack to make room for the commentators, so you have to strain like a son of a gun to make out what they say over yelling/gunfire/etc. It's aggravating!

Now if you should want to call me, use this number. This other one is the old number.

This was a great film.

It has been playing on the Starz/Encore Western Channel for months now...

reply

It was on a Spanish-language station last night, with the Spanish dubbed in.

Saw this on the Encore Western channel over the weekend. Sure there were lots of gaps in the movie but the 2 main characters (the brothers) were very interesting to watch. I stuck with the movie to see how it would end. This movie could have had lots of potential.
