help with anyone who has bought the tracker knife

Ok i am thinking of getting one but i have heared a few people say that its a most a show peice. I know for the price it would be a show peice but does anyone here own one and used it in the woods like against the elments? i really am thinking of getting one bit i dont buy knifes for a wall i buy them to use. So anyone got one or know it looks like a good knife.

I have one but have not tested it in the woods. Ive read alot of stuff online about the knife and found a forurm with alot of people talking alot of trash on the one made my tops. Most of them said that it was to heavy and the blade was to thick and that it for the most part sucked out in the woods. If your going to get one shop around on the net cause you can get one for alot less than retail. Also, a good bet would be to just get a Dave Beck WSK. Ive heard that they are alot better and perform well in the field. You could also check out mtknives.com, for his versions of the WSK. They look great and are made out of better steel.

get a KA-BAR not ridiculously expensive and strong as *beep*, that tracker blade will cost you 300, oh and if your like me and wander the woods alot you most likely will lose it eventually, and losing a 300 dollar knife would suck. If you want an expensive paper weight then go for it.

It's a good knife. You need to put your own edge on however.
