SO MIRAMAX FINALLY LET THIS ONE GO, THANK YOU MAGNOLIA!!

i've seen this movie at least eight times.

the colors are saturated, the acting is top notch, the story is beautiful, and the violence (quite often enough) is boisterous.

Imagine if you will, watching a movie with all thai actors, looks like it was filmed back in the heyday of romantic epics the like of "Casablanca" and "Gone With The Wind" colored in by good ol Turner!

Why wouldn't this work as a remake?

The fascination is the fact that it's an homage to american westerns and romance epics filmed entirely by thai actors!!! And done so quite fascinatingly!!

It's part Wizard of Oz, part Gone with the Wind, and part Kill Bill!!(before Kill Bill was even considered for filming!)

Thank you again Magnolia films, i'll be watching this on the big screen, no doubt!

Remember when Miramax actually put out good films, back in the early 90's? Not surprised they let this one go; they probably consider it "beneath them," and not a "money maker,"
