It's important for all to know, Long Beach was NEVER ....

as bad as fits the author's imagination. He had a need to believe in this great suburban failure, for it fits his politics. Long Beach had a bit of downturn in the 60's and 70's, with two many seedy ripoff old age homes along the beach, but the entire community came roaring back over time. It's a gorgeous ocean front neighborhood, and condo's on the beach can sell for a million dollars or more today. Anyone with the slightest doubt as to my veracity, go there and see for yourself. Park you car anywhere you wish and walk along the "dangerous" boardwalk for as long and as far as you wish. Shop in any store you wish on Long Beach Avenue, two blocks inland from the beach. Ofcourse, you will have trouble finding good parking on the streets in the summer, when it gets packed. I'd like to picture the imbeciles who made this film all broken up inside and crying that the
perfect surbuban Hell of their pitiful imaginations is a flowering community of beautiful streets and homes, everywhere you look. It must kill them.
