washed-out look
It's started again on E4.
Does anyone know if the washed-out look is deliberate or just the way they did it? It really looks unsharp.
The washed out, grainy, crappy look was intentional, believe it or not... or perhaps it was just plain incompetence on the part of the DP.
He was quite an ass.
I was the sound mixer on season 1.
I remember seeing a rough screening at the Christmas party and thinking to myself how bad it looked, but I thought maybe it was just the video projection system. I later went to a mix and the picture at the studio looked basically the same.
