This should be made into a movie!

That could be a hot installment in the current crossover hype - freddyvs.jason (cool), alien vs. predator(crap),Robocop vs. Terminator (awesome)

You wouldn´t even have to cast a star in it, just let some talented nobody or have been star (Peter Weller anyone?) wear the Robo suit and fight the Endoskeletons. Just hire Stan Winston for FX, it would be a huge hit, and above all it would rock!

I´d do it myself, but in Austria, we´re limited to projects using about 1% of the common US Budgets. Besides they´ll have to buy the rights, so only a very well trusted director could helm it.

Maybe they´ll do it. I just hope they don´t hire somebody like Paul WS. Anderson. Don´t get me wrong, this guy seems like a real fan-director, being very charming and likeable in interviews. But somehow he has a special talent for burying franchises. (as seen in Mortal Kombat, Resident Evil or AVP)

Somewhere along the line (when Hollywood have well and truly ran out of original ideas), someone is going to unearth this game and think, "you know what, this would make a great film." I think it will happen one day.

Crossover franchises like Freddy Vs Jason and Alien Vs Predator have been No1's, but have had huge drop-offs. Profit is there, but it's small.

I personally think Robocop Vs Terminator would be a bad idea, but it would be interesting nonetheless just to see what they would do with it.

I think it would be great as long as they learned what made AVP *beep* and honored both the Robocop and Terminator franchises.

Or Terminator Vs Preditor, or have they done that? The guy in the jugle looked kinda familier, In fact I think he's faced Batman too, ah well.

Well i have read the plot summary and i think it makes more sense to do it this way...

OCP is growing and become a bigger focre to be reckon with and They decided to invest in making time travel possible. While in the future John Conner is sending back a terminator to detroit, to stop OCP. Robocop is sent in to stop the terminator and they fight blah blah blah and Robocop wins and OCP creates time travel and decided to become Skynet, While someone inside OCP(Skynet) decides to send robocop to the future to kill John Conner...sequal

Well i,ve been thinking alot about the idea of ROBOCOP VS. TERMINATOR movie then sudenly i had an idea for the movie but the prolem was were do i set it 2003 just when the machines start to rise or 2001 robocop had brought down skynet in 1 big explosion the war is over but in the bowls of skynet 1 terminator survives it uses the busted up time machine to send it,s self back to kill murphy when he was human but the time machine thanx to the explosions screws every thing up and terminator has been sent back years after murphy's death the terminator doesn,t relize until he finds ellen murpy's home kill,s her the searches the house then he comes across murphy,s death certificate and all of these papers.............

Well being that they are making just about every Frank Miller comic book into a movie these days (with great success), it wouldn't surprise me if this will be made into a movie in the near future.

I would love a live action film, but we'll never see it happen. At least not with Arnold and Weller. I had often thought that they could make an animated movie based on Frank Millers comic. They could use both actors for the voices.

If Uwe Boll gets his hands on this movie, i will personally get a shotgun and kill Uwe Boll, and let get myself be arrested and say i was saving the world from *beep* movies

Assuming the comic book story and the game plot are the same, this would make a decent movie.
There is no need to pay for a John Connor or T-100, all it needs is an actress to play Flo, a dude to fill the Robocop suit and some varying Terminators.

Best Cross Overs

Alien vs. Predator(in my opinion IS THE BEST IDC WHAT ANYBODY SAYS)
Freddy vs. Jason(it did them both justice nonetheless)

They need to do a Robocop vs. Terminator movie it would be interesting

Yeah, since I played this game a while back I've thought about the possibility of having a RoboCop vs Terminator film, and you know, it could work out really well, provided that it's in the right hands and that they don't tone down the violence and make it PG-13. I'm sorry, but you just have to have an R for a RoboCop or a Terminator film (that goes for the Alien and Predator series. AvP is teh suck, although not just because its rated PG-13)

I honestly doubt a project like this will never happen, but who knows. I don't think anyone expected for there to be a Terminator/Sarah Conner TV series, and now there's going to be one.

Sadly, there has been much talk of a RoboCop remake. Sony is getting a bit too gungho now that they've bought out MGM/UA. Personally, I hope that it never happens. Now a RoboCop 4, on the other hand...

Come on Warner Bros, give us our Blade Runner Special Edition

I agree that RoboCop Vs The Terminator would be a cool film, I loved the game. Although, I'm not sure about when he destroys skynet, it should be more like a computer, like S.A.I.N.T./ Legion was in the prime Directive films, than a giant head.

Aliens vs. Predator was originally a comic series, then a novel series and THEN a Video game series. Each step got better until Paul Anderson got his hands on the franchise.

Yeah. I believe Robocop vs. Terminator would suffer a similar fate if made.

The movie would probably do the following:

-End in an ambiguous tie
-Anger James Cameron even more
-Spawn more low budget crappy sequels (money talks)
-Make the new generation of teenagers believe the original Robocop and Terminator movies are linked.

RoboCop vs. The Terminator is afour-issue comic book crossover limited series written by Frank Miller that was published in 1992 by Dark Horse Comics. It was pencilled by Walt Simonson and inked by Steve Oliff, who also jointly illustrated the covers.

Utilising elements from both the RoboCop and Terminator universes, the comic book series puts its own spin on proceedings by having Skynet send back in time three Terminators to Detroit to protect RoboCop from being destroyed by a lone human soldier sent back by John Connor.

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.
Eventually discovering that the technology used to build him is partly responsible for the future development of Skynet, RoboCop soon sets upon himself to take down Skynet in the post-apocalyptic future single-handedly.

that's what the comic book was about. it would make a nice movie if done right

Sorry that's just a double feature DVD that has both movies on it.

I also think this should be a movie, concidering Orion owns both characters, which they do.

I'd rather see either Gaumont, 20th Century Fox or Cecchi Gori (French, US and Italian respectively) produce it.

I think I should play a young Robocop, or at least a teenage Alexander Murphy if it is film (www.myspace.com/specstef)

ONLY IF THE PPL WHO WERE INVOLVED WITH THE FIRST 2 ROBOCOPS AND FIRST 2 TERMINATORS WERE INVOLVED INSTEAD OF THAT ROBOCOP 3 AND TERMINATOR 3 *beep* IT SHOULDVE HAPPENED BEFORE ROBOCOP 3 AND AFTER TERMINATOR 2 IN THE EARLY 1990S AND IS PROBLY 2 LATE NOW SINCE THEY *beep* ROBOCOP AND TERMINATOR UP. FRANK MILLER MADE A COMIC BOOK SERIES CUZ HES WITH ME AND SAYS *beep* HOLLYWOOD AND DID WHAT HE WANTED TO DO WITH ROBOCOP AND TERMINATOR WHICH IS WAY BETTER THAN THE HELD BACK CENSORED MOVIES

I have often said that Robocop Terminator crossover is a stupid idea because they're universes are completely different.
