This is a question/comment by the film makers about the above feature documentary about Marlene Dietrich and her relationship with her homeland and the complex personal issues she encoutered before, during and after the second world war. Has this film been shown in Germany, besides the premiere at the Berlin Film Festival? If you know about the film and its impact in your area/country - if any - please write and tell us. I just saw the documentary on TCM and was very impressed. I honestly knew very little about Ms. Dietrich, other than seeing her in a few movies. The documentary was so interesting that I couldn't take my eyes off of it. Well done!
