As many people have asked about a devil may cry movie, i have something to share with you, july 06 sound good?....well it damn well better because that is when the movie of the game will be released, it will be directed by R.L. Scott of Shadow Motion Pictures. Paul Watson has been casted to play the part of Dante, all the facts are as of yet unclear, but i hope that you find this link helpful.

I hope that's a joke. I have nothing against independant film makers or anything, but from what i've read on the forum, R.L. Scott has no experience or knowledge with DMC at all, he asks the fans for information and ideas for the script. Yet still, Dante's fighting Werewolves. Right.

It's not an official film from Capcom... it is a short promotional film to be screened by Capcom Execs. at Dragoncon this year. they were told to do a different rendition of the stories by Capcom because It would not represent what they were capable of doing if they used the exact storyline Capcom had already created. it was Cpcoms idea that they change their version.

I really wish that Capcom would get their heads out of their asses and realize that people want the movies to be BASED on the games...not 'oh we'll create a whole new storyline and see what happens'. Fans are fans for a reason.

Here's another: Devil May Cry is being released as a movie and on UMD Devil May Cry 3: Note of Naught is being released. There is no information available other than the titles, check IGN.
