i have a lot of mixed feelings about this film, though i found it intriguing
but repetitive. there is a very key point that i am not clear about. near the end, in their charged discussion, the doctor- son says to his father something about ' your ice-cold cum'. figurative or actual happening? seems to me to be very critical for the film's understanding. if the doctor- as-boy was abused and then abandoned , that would certainly be reason enough for him to be as he is. appreciate your thoughts.

He didn't say "something about it" he said that's what he squirted into his mother to make him. There's no sexual abuse. This movie is about how once you have a kid you want to run the **** away.
