I would just like to point out that for many man y amamanayt manay manay amana yamn ayamayama man man yma y,amau a,a aumany, many,many, many,many.many,many,many,vv,v,,many,many,v,,.manyvvvmanymanymany, and many different reasons this IS the PINNACLE of all 'sitcoms'.

one reason -- the Prophecy/Wish-unfulfilment (=how weird , that so much is True while so much else is like -parallel universe best-case=scenario (see esp. eps. 1 and 8).

here my confession: I only saw the last episode tonight. I've had the collection for a long time, but I never watched episode 8. I guess I wanted to watch the series all the way through. So I never saw the finale. Til tonight.

So:
Does anyone else think :
1/ it was an allegory on a) what was really goin' on (polit'cly)
b) the way the show was getting 'layed off' (like George in the episode was hissself)
c) the superiority of the military-industrial complex
