I read in an article that the south park creators have written a script called
George W. Bush and the Secret of the Glass Tiger, and it is in the works at paramount. Does anyone have more information about this?

yeah. they went to incredible lengths to make it but noone would help them because it made fun of the president. its probably not coming out. i read about it in an interview with trey on the trey parker fan site, which either got closed down or got moved. if it were still up i could shed some more light on the subject but ive killed too many brain cells since then to remember.

shareI didn't know if they'd written a script. But I do remember the title and the idea that they would do a film to kind of wrap it all up. I kind of wish they had. Surely it couldn't have cost too much to make a film as the series was expensive for Comedy Central but for a movie, even a DTV one, that budget expanded 4 times would be less than 3 million. Plus if they did it as a film, taking out the live action sitcom elements, but still made it a comedy would make it cheaper to produce. I always felt let down that the show never continued although if it had ran too long I don't think I'd as fondly remember it either.
It's too bad they never shot a pilot for the gore sitcom, as I'd love to compare the approach they might have taken with casting, etc. had Gore won the election.
