Why would you want to watch crap like that?

Boring, unfunny film. B-movie actors don't save thas crap much. Typical sentimental crap with few crap jokes here and there.

reply

What are you talking about? did you even see the movie, i guess that you did. it was funny, non-boring, A-actors. this movie was very good, dont say that stuff, it might be your opinion but why do you have to say its crap? aparently it's a good movie if it has been sold out all across north dakota. and ranked the second highest film showed on a screen... in the nation, or something like that. yeah i guess thats crap, isnt it? no

reply

I thought it was crap too, and I'm from North Dakota.

reply

Yeah it really doesnt matter if it sold out in North Dakota. I live here and the total pop. is like 600,000 and most of them are retired. And alot of people went because they filmed it here and they used some of thier equipment.

Life sucks, get a helmut.

reply

Very true. I live in ND and people don't know crap about good film, which is prolly why we get no good films to come here. People only went to see it cuz it was filmed here, not cuz it was good. We never have any movies filmed here so people ignored the fact that it sucked and that our state used public tax dollars to fund this piece of crap just cuz it features Medora. If you want to see a very good and true to life movie about this region, see Fargo by the Cohens. It's extremely well done, although the accents are a bit over the top.

In times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act...1984.

The kid was the worst part. He was terrible and was totally out of his element with Fonda and Kristoferson.

Say what you want, but I loved the movie.

Ditto...Cali_Ray_of_Sunshine. You don't see too many movies these days with the older actors in it. I thought it was really good. But, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. That's what makes the world go round. My favorite with the older actors is "Space Cowboys".

This movie. Was bad but it wasn't crap. I mean there some really good parts. But it was the first of it's kind, (fargo is not a North Dakota film, ladies and gentlemen) I think that the movie would have been way better if they would have fixed the script. All they had were stereo types. Take the tiny part that I had in the film as an example. Big Bob(the bear claw scene). The whole time i was there all the director kept telling me was "keep it simple", he's a "simple" guy, these are "simple" people. My only direction, was to keep the one of the two minority parts in the film, slow witted and retarted.

Hey your absolutly right midnight gurl, I mean every movie isn't Pulp Fiction, or the Godfather or other great movies. I too turned onto this one - flipping throgh and watched like twenty minutes ( stopped cause now I wanna rent it and see all of it)I like all the actors- Fonda, Kristoferson, carradine, these are all actors that arereally coming into thier prime as actors- I think Fonda and Kristofferson are much more relaxed and " really good", as "older", characters- who by the way are playing older caharacters unlike Harrison Ford (who I love - but hey your not a kid any more- so play your age.
But, any way I look forward to renting this movie, and these other clowns can enjoy whatever car movies, shoot outs, what ever is the latest fade. But like this movie fades come and go, but if we are lucky we get old and have family that love us and that we love so midnight- you go girl
I think that Fonda has made some really interesting and "GOOD", small "art" "indy", films in the last few years starting around the time he made Ulees Gold.

peter fonda, kris kristofferson and keith carradine are NOT b movie actors. maybe they're in a lot of b movies and their careers aren't what they used to be but i love all 3 of those actors and to see all 3 of them in one movie was why i wanted to see this film.

There is no such thing as a good movie or a bad movie. Just like beauty, the worth of a movie is absolutely in the eye of the beholder. All one can really say about ANY movie is either I/you liked it or I/you didn't like it.

I loved watching Peter Fonda, Kris Kristofferson, and Keith Carradine in this movie. The chemistry and the wry sense of humor between Fonda and Kristofferson was classic, and for me, was a joy to watch. And for me, too, it was the reason why I picked this movie to watch. I was not disappointed.
