Original cut

I'm not sure that would save it. It'd be worth having though. I'm surprised no one on the message board is talking about the script. I read the original script a few days ago. It's pretty easy to find if you just search james gunn original scooby doo script or something like that. The overall plot is pretty much the same, but a lot of the scenes were gutted of all the humorous elements. It was definitely more satirical. I laughed out loud more than once. There are moments that make you go- I can't believe they were gonna do that... in a good way. I don't think there were any pot references or lesbian scenes, but it was still more adult oriented. I think it would have been a really good movie, a cult classic kinda thing. Anyway, I recommend anyone interested to give it a read. You can read it in the time it takes to watch a movie, and when you're finished you feel like you've seen it.
