Anyone who's offended by this has no respect for the people in it

It cracks me up that the people who "get offended" think they themselves have some concept of self-respect. The actors in this movie that are actually dealing with developmental disabilities chose to be in this movie, and I would put dollars to donuts that they did it so people would realize that there is no difference between a person with their problems and a "normal" person.

My best friend has been in a wheelchair due to MS. HIS ENTIRE LIFE. He told me one time that the reason he considered me his best friend was that I treated him like a normal person.

So all you "holier than thou" offense-o-matics can shove it where the sun doesn't shine. This movie respects and depicts the people you want to label as different normally. There is nothing wrong with them, just the people who want to "protect" them.

2 more things - he talked his parents into getting personalized plates for his wheelchair van - they read "GIMPY GOD." 2nd thing - its funny how people who want to make sure people are treated equally have to put people in different groups, isn't it?
