Rainbow-faces

How do you think the Rainbow faces' ship looks like and what do you think the name of thier home planet is? Oh, and do you think they really look like that or was it an illusion?

reply

Hellishly late, but I don't care. The Rainbow Faces were my favorite characters in the movie. Ahem.

1. Their ship might have just been the fake Stone of Cold Fire...or something. We'll never know.

2. Hmm, also a mystery.

3. Probably an illusion. I mean, they probably didn't want to stick out, right? And if that really was what they looked like...that would explain the Maiasaura and Coelophysis bones found on the moon. :/

On another note, despite not being animated too good, I thought this was the best out of all the sequels. Even though the bad guys weren't that threatening, they sure were funny! I loved Sierra and Rinkus. Sierra was totally badass, yet funny and amusing the watch, in a weird sort of way.

I agree with the above poster...although I do think the forms the Rainbow Faces were in were their actual forms.

An interesting idea: my mother thought that the Rainbow Faces were kind of like guardian angels. For some reason, I began thinking that maybe they had been dead, but came back to life. However, I discarded this idea (I'm thinking they're aliens...BECAUSE THEY ARE!!!)

I also agree with that fact that this movie was one of the best LBTs in exiistance! This -- along with the first and ninth installments -- are my #1 faves.

That's an interesting theory, about the Rainbowfaces being guardians...I don't think it's true, but you never know. I also noticed that, during one of the songs in one of the movies past this (I think it was the one with Tria), when they're singing about bugs, a Rainbowface shows up, but he doesn't have that crimson streak the Rainbowfaces in this movie do.

In any case, movie #9...which one is that one, again? Is that the one with Mo?

Yeah, it is. It also had a Rainbowface (cameo) in it. Right at the beginning, it almost gets squashed by a tree.

I wonder if they'll have a LBT movie with a plot revolving mainly around a Rainbowface? I've always imagined a movie where a young Rainbowface (as old as the gang) accidentally lets some secrets slip about life, the universe, and everything. Eventually, she takes them back to the Rainbowface planet with her...then all hell breaks loose.

I really doubt the Rainbowfaces that may or may not appear in later sequels/television episodes will be from space.

The RainbowFaces are stars! Stars that can turn into dinos. I would like to believe their aliens acutally.

I think it could be possible that they were some form of guardian angels!

I also agree that that wasn't their true form...they just wanted to blend in....

I really like their song Beyond the Mysterious Beyond! :)

Does anyone think that maybe when they spoke of beyond the "Mysterious Beyond" they weren't talking about the actual mysterious beyond but maybe space or somewhere none of them had explored or something??...just a thought...
