This is my favorite of the sequels I've seen. Mainly because of the Rainbowfaces. I don't know why, but they're my favorite characters. Yeah, the movie was animated pretty poorly, but I also liked the music. And the colors. o_o;

I like the Land Before Time movies, this isn't my favourite....

I didn't really like many of the sequels...but for some reason, I really liked this one! Pterano was the best character (that actually WAS a character, not just someone saying lines...), and the rainbow faces were awesome!
It's better, though, to think of it as something completely different from the original movie (e.g., ALIENS?!) than a sequel, though. As a movie on it's own it's pretty fun.
Well, I wouldn't say this one was bad (none were bad, IMO, even VI was so lame and cheesy that it became awesome), but it wouldn't rank too high on my list. Don't take anything negative from that, I love the whole series.

This is one of my favorites in The Land Before Time series, although I stopped watching the new ones several years ago. The Rainbowfaces really add an interesting 'mystery' element, although it's quite clear at the end what they are. Pterano is also my candidate for best character in the entire series. Great voice acting, and a real threedimensional character.

I haven't watched this movie in years but I remember how much I loved it. In fact, I would say this is the best in the series (not including the original of course).
