LOVE IT!

I don't know what your problems are whoever you are who say it's bad. This is a cartoon for families and especially little children, so it's going to be goofy and nothing real serious. And it's just for fun and to enjoy yourself and have a good laugh...I particularly do at the song about Grandma's Killer Fruitcake. Now I don't know what sort of stuff y'all are into, but why don't you go onto the boards for them, and leave this one alone?

I know what you mean. I love it, too! It might be kind of dumb in some spots, but so are all cartoons in one way or another. I'm sixteen, and this is one of my favorite Christmas specials, right up there with Rudolph, Frosty, and The Year Without a Santa Claus (though, Olive the Other Reindeer is #1), even if it's meant for little kids. And really, who wouldn't love a dog named Doofus?

I thought it was cure how they updated the story to the late 1990s. More interesting than if the move was set in 1979 when the song was first recorded.

Nice twists.

Life is never fair, and perhaps it is a good thing for most of us that it is not.

I love it, too! Must've watched it twenty times this year.

I really like it too. I got my mom to watch it and even she liked it. She'll watch anything if she has time but she only REALLY likes the Rankin Bass specials.

reply

To be honest, I... liked it too. *hides*
