This special should be retired.

Its a travesty that classic specials like Garfeild Christmas Special and The Christmas Toy are no longer shown but THIS GARBAGE IS!

I agree. This is one of my favorite Christmas specials.

I'd watch that. And they could easily bring back Cousin Mel to serve as an antagonist of sorts.

I miss Garfield's Christmas Special like any other fan of Jim Davis' works but don't take your frustration on this story. Is there really anywhere but Youtube where one can see either?

I haven't yet seen "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" on YouTube, but here's the Garfield Christmas special:

I like them both too. "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer" is on Amazon Instant Video, but for $3.99 to rent and $14.99 to "buy" ("buy" as in they can delete from your library or otherwise restrict access however and whenever they want). Is Cousin Mel setting the prices?!?!?!
