I didn't know what to think of this movie. It was overly long, poorly directed, and trite. In spite of that, it had beautifully shot scenes (some at least), was enjoyable to some degrees, and had enough of a story to make me think I didn't waste my 4 dollars renting it.

For those who haven't seen it, I can't recommend it - there simply isn't enough here to warrant $4 and 2 hours of your life.

Anyone out there think this was really, really good? I mean, 336 people gave it a 10 - there has to be some kind of reason for that.

Yeah, well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

I agree. Boring, beautiful graphics, some enjoyable moments. But, poorly directed? Not at all, Oshii's direction is just perfect.
It's not a must watch. It's simply an okay movie.

Boycott movies that involve real animal violence! (and their directors too)
