Embry looks like someone couldn't decide between embryo and Emory, so they mashed the two.

Life is never fair, and perhaps it is a good thing for most of us that it is not.
The name Embry really grew on me through the movies, but I'd be reluctant to name a son that. It's just that it seems like a name that you have to have a certain It Factor to pull off. Charlie Hunnam naturally has it, but it's a little difficult to predict if an infant will lol.
shareI have always liked that name because of the actor Ethan Embry (even though it's his surname). He was born Ethan Randall so he obviously chose the name Embry.
I have a very unusual first name but I love it and everyone I meet does too. I always have considered it a gift from my parents. If you make your child feel very special and are really loving towards them, they will wear their name with pride and be the kind of person that people are drawn to anyway. At least that has been my experience...thanks to my Mom and Dad.
