I noticed that in the film, she is always at that desk. Was that her personal desk for her use only. It had those post-cards on the back wall and all of these books that i assumes that she uses. and how no one took her stuff. it stayed exactly the same.
shareI haven't seen the movie, but I do know that some colleges set up "thesis desks" for those seniors who are writing theses. They have their own space reserved at the library that they know they can always work at, probably because that's one less thing they have to worry about when they are swamped with research. I would imagine it increases their productivity. I'm not sure how those desks are kept from being used by others, though. I wouldn't leave pictures and things all over the place for fear someone would destroy them, but I'm sure it's done. Seems to make the place more cozy & comfortable to work in.
