I thought that the character who played Embry was Heath Ledger! He looked so much like him in the movie. Then of course I remembered this guy was from N. Nickelby.

I found Nicolas Nickelby easily on DVD here in Switzerland, as it was released on DVD for the entire German speaking marked...
Maybe get it via Amazon or elsewhere on the net. I really liked Nicolas Nickelby but haven't seen "Abandon" yet.
I found out about the film via the Music, as I really like Clint Mansells work.
It's been a long time since I've seen this movie, but when I remembered I remembered it as Heath Ledger.
