The truth is that it´s a "he", the director of the film found this guy in bar in Thailand and decided it to put him in the film, in his own words, as a reference to the Crying Game. I read it in a spanish magazine dedicated to horror and gore films.

I haven't watched the movie in a while, but AFAIR 'she' has a fairly pronounced 'adam's apple' in 'her' neck, so is probably really a guy.

Well, ace does find out he is a guy right in the middle of a movie. He freaks out when he is naked. Then the image of Guitar Worlf says not to care about genders. It doesn't get more obvious than that =P

If you pause it at certain moments in that scene you can see the actual images that are flashed up on the screen for a split sceond, which are (i think) just red and green and you can see the definate outline of "extra baggage" swinging around like theres no tomorrow.

I think that same image (a drawing of somebody with breasts and a penis) is also next to the actor's name in the opening credits. I didn't notice it until the second time I watched it, though.

I'm pretty sure the actor may have been transgendered, as men don't have those kinds of nipples lol. If you pay attention at the part when you see Tobio's chest, they are fairly puffy(like mentioned above), which could be from hormone therapy.

But like what was said, if you fell in love with them, and find them attractive as looking like a girl, I don't see how it's gay.

Um, yer all confused. That was a ladyboy, no op at all. She didn't have breasts. That was a guy's chest. And the movie clearly implied she had a penis. Lucky for me, I kept saying to myself, "That girl is not in any way attractive" throughout the first half of the film.
