I have to agree that it wasn't great, but good comment....but Ryan was really good in it. I watched this movie after The Notebook and you can tell he really honed in on his talent after making The Slaughter Rule. I have The Believer coming in the mail from Netflix today...so, we'll see how that goes, but I've heard nothing by great things about his performance in that movie.

I dont know...maybe it was just the script or the directing...but I wasnt too impressed. It didnt grab me like the notebook did.

Well I've yet to see The Slaugher Rule and actually started a 'spoilers' thread cause don't have time to watch everything. Ryan was awesome in The Believer and actually won at least one award for his performance just fyi. Very compelling and emotional movie based on a true story.

I guess I should be putting this in the "The Believer" Board, but I thought this movie was great and why not cross promote..lol

He did such a good job playing this character, and to think, this was his first major movie?! Well, I can't say enough of his acting abilities...so whoever can get the movie, watch it! Great writing, great director, great everything....this movie came together perfectly.

Although, I'm still trying to figure out why I didn't like him in the slaughter rule. I mean, he did a good job on his part. Oh well, who knows....moving on to Murder by Numbers. It's a "Ryan Weekend!" in JerseyGirl's house....HAha
