Age for Viewing

I don't think it's for children or teens actually. Especially since many adults don't even get this flick. So many people think Gid is totally gay and he's not. That's not what the writers intended but left it shady enough to create controversy. If adults don't get it, teens won't either. Loved the movie and Mr. Morse's acting was perfect.

Depends on who that someone is. It was intended for people about the same age as the main character, Roy. So that means 16+, unless your kid is younger, but is a somewhat sophisticated film-viewer. I mean, nobody gets blown up, there is no graphic sex, but there is some rough language, tense situations, and violence. How old should someone be to see Last Picture Show or River's Edge?
