Does anyone have a clue on a movie called The Painting? It was screened last November, and have been waiting for a release of some type but have seen nothing. It was put out by Santa Monica Films or Santa Monica Pictures. David Rose was the Producer and Joshua D. Rose was the Director. Thanks if anyone has any clues.

I am sure they can tell you what is going on with this movie. I havent checked up on this in quite awhile...they were working on the distribution of it for almost 2 years! Posts are getting Old and so is the Movie although I dont think it made it out of the can. Im interested as I did some Helicopter flying for a portion of it in Puerto Rico. If, this is the same Brian Hikox production.

I just watched it last night on cable's Lifetime Movie Network.
shareI have been wondering about this movie. Part of it was filmed at our church in Eudora, KS, and a few of us actually got to be in the shots. We also got to meet all of the actors and were curious as to how this movie came out. If anyone has learned anything, the people of the Clearfield United Methodist Church would be grateful!!!

This movie is being released onto home video by Screen Media (distributed by Universal) today February 28, 2006.
I am a video store owner and watched this movie this morning after by 66-70 year old parents and one of my store managers loved it. It is now 6:00 am and cannot get to sleep. Damn good movie.
Unfortuntately for many of you, Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, & Movie Gallery do not stock all Universal released titles, so you might have to try elsewhere.
Where can I purchase this movie? Can I purchase this movie from your video store?

shareI have a copy of this movie now (or will by the day's end). I'm told the movie title is changed from "The Painting" to "Soldiers of Conflict" or "Soldiers of Change"....not sure which one. Looks like you can get it off Amazon.com for quite cheap.
That's my church in Eudora, KS. We're all really excited to see it. I'm also in the "singing" scene during the credits in a crazy colored 60's style dress. I do NOT look awsome, and I'm not the least bit in focus, but at least I can say I've been in a movie! LOL!
