I personally enjoyed the satire. It was SUPPOSED TO BE GOOFY FOLKS........apparently about *19* other people in the globe must agree to some extent with me. In a generally witless age such as this where most films and TV are dumbed down, I'm glad that at least some people out here understood what the film was trying to do without blindly tearing it to shreads.

I agree with you. Why such a low rating considering how much real film crap is cranked out and sold to the masses? There are so many lousy overhyped films that I would run out of webspace to make a list.
I think it's just another bad sign that people are getting more witless every year, or at least losing any real sense of humor.
I hope not...but the near lack of any warm response to "Marci-X" makes me wonder.
....however, I DO WONDER if this went over any better in Europe and abroad?

Marci-X is not a perfect comedy or even a perfect film in general, it sure does have it's faults but it is a good example of a fairly recent film that was misunderstood by the public at large and never given a chance by many. It seems unfair somehow to have people blindly rip it without trying to understand what it's real intent was.
I'm glad you at least gave it a chance.
I've been going through the Bottom 100 list (I like film torture) and I got to this and really enjoyed it. I completely agree with all of you that this film does not deserve to be down here. I wish people would lighten up and understand jokes better these days...
