Why...

Do they not say her name in the movie? I love Kill Bill (it's one of my favorites) but I never understood why they blurred out her name everytime someone said it.

Well I'm guessing to give her some anonymity and mystery.

The Bride is her title in the first movie. Almost as though she's a vigilante.

In Part 2 it's far more personal, once we get closer to Bill and find out her child is alive. So that's a perfect way to bring us closer to The Bride by intorducing her as Beatrix

Yeah, I guess you're right. I didn't think about it that way.

I thought it was a glitch on my TV the I realised they blurred it out on purpose lol.

Seemed like an acceptable Tarantino 'unique' bit. Instead of just writing completely around it, it gave an extra sense of mystery and hope that you'd either find out by the end of the movie ,and then at some point during the next movie.

It's so that the audience would think off the Bride as a killing machine. Less human.
