This must be one of the smallest message boards of a movie I have seen.
But it's a nice movie and really good acting. I hope we will see more of the guy who played Boyd, it might be the new brad pitt!

i agree it is weird that no one knows about this movie. i caught it on hbo a few years back, but i forgot its name. then i was watching almost famous and recognized the actor who played boyd. thanks to imdb i traced it back to the movie. its funny, because he has such a small part in almost famous, but he still stood out to me. he's a really good actor--he has a definite natural kind of aura to him. boyd felt very real. and so did the girl. i liked how they looked real too. not perfect. they had flaws, but it made the characters more interesting. i wish i could see more from the both of them. well, that was kind of a long reply...but yes, there are other people out there who've seen the movie! =)

i caught it a long time ago on IFC, if i recall correctly. such a well done indie movie that has that great first love feel to it.
what stuck out to me was the great ani difranco songs and the male lead, who like the other poster, I tracked this movie by his role in Almost Famous.
good stuff and happy to see other fans of this film :)
