I can't believe I wasted my time to watch this

Seriously,
this movie was so annoying. I got so pissed off.
There were times where I WAS STRESSING because the old lady was such an annoying *beep* bitch,
I just want my time back, so I could watch a WAYYY BETTER MOVIE..

reply

I hated this movie too just because of that old lady. However, I wouldn't say I wasted time watching it because it overall was a pretty well-made film. The most annoying moment was when that bitch through his laptop into the fire. I would have thrown her in there with it and watched her sqeal.

reply

The reason most people don't like it is because they don't understand the humerous side to it.
I personally loved it !

reply

I pulled on my hair during the laptop part... And coloritblue, you summarized all my thoughts for me.

reply

You guys just need to open your eyes a bit more...

reply

is it a bad thing to say that i wanted the little, old lady to die? because i really wanted her to die just because she was annoying and she ruined the couple's lives (don't worry i know it's a movie)

true, i just watched this film last night and we enjoyed it so much

reply

I liked this movie.. thought it was much better than Zoolander.

reply

hated this movie!! liked zoolander better...

reply

i totally agree... honestly, i don't understand why this movie is called a comedy... it wasn't funny at all, but rather annoying....(and yes... the laptop scene was one of THE most annoying scenes i've ever seen)

reply

Actually this movie was seriously very good! It was funny too! Maybe you just don't get humor movies very much!

reply

or maybe people have a different sense of humor than you

I wish my lawn was as emo as you... then it would cut itself

reply

That’s right people have different taste in movies, but most of them need a little enlightening. The movie is supposed to be a dark comedy and people hating this movie just because the old lady was "annoying" seems pretty ignorant, wasn’t she supposed to play the part of being annoying?

I think it’s a much underrated movie, just like Donnie Darko. I personally like the movie it was a bit different of what drew usually plays but still has her originality.

reply

I remember watching this movie and now I forgot it. I remember used to liking it a lot because it was VERY FUNNY. You people really need to lighten up a bit. Now I think I want to buy the DVD.

reply

Are you *beep* kidding me? Donnie Darko is way overrated. And like the original poster, I want my time back from watching this piece of *beep* It wasn't cause I thought the lady was annoying (that was the idea.) but more that it wasn't funny, or entertaining, or not the biggest POS I've seen in a while.

reply

I actually enjoyed this movie, I laughed alot during it. I love the part where Nancy brings the flinch stool thing home, and Alex sits on it and looks up at her saying 'What are we? Hobbits' I dunno why the camara angle just makes it look funny.

reply

Horrible movie. I was watching and enjoying it a bit, but it just wouldn't end!! There were about three times where I thought it would end and it didn't, and that was with an hour still to go!!

what the......????????? it was the best movie ever how can u think it was horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i think youv'e gone a bit cookoo- sorry, but u have.

reply

it was an awful film. Its just like Meet the Parents but without the payoff, the whole film its misunderstandings and they are getting screwed but at the end there was no payoff except they made a huge loss on the house and lived happily ever after. I expected.. or at least wanted more from the film considering the cast and director

reply

i totally agree. it was the most "over the top" movie i've ever seen. the laptop scene was ridiculous! it just *happens* to land right in the embers. gag me. i dont know how anyone can compare this piece of crap to zoolander. zoolander is brilliant. this is.....horrible, def. not a comedy. ack, i cant get over how bad it was.....

reply

Yes, it was a dark comedy, I understand that aspect. The thing that frustrated me was the sloppy writing. The fact that there was only ONE cop in all of New York City, the laptop scene, the old lady harpooning the hitman - it was all so predictable, I could see each of those coming from a mile away. Lazy writing.

reply

I agree. I only saw the last half on tv, and I felt that I had wasted an hour of my life. Just awful.

Dark comedy generally is for the more intelligent viewer, where as say, Zoolander, slapstick comedy is more for the less intelligent viewer.

reply

I have to say that I hated this movie not because of the old lady but because of this stupid couple. they aren't in any second likeable and so I didn't gave a sh*t about what happened to them. I never thought I would ever say this about a character played by Ben Stiller...
And I just wanted to shoot this fracking cop.
