Goodbye BR Board

Just a quick message to say goodbye to the one and only IMDb BR board now IMDb are finally pulling the plug. There was a great community here once with lively threads full of discussions, arguments, rap-offs, role play games, BR musicals and limericks, and those endless remake threads (anyone remember Shia LaBouef for Shuya?)

That was a while back now, but I just wanted to say thanks. Thanks to any who see this. Thanks to the Princesses, the Desseks, the Beers full of fridge, Death Angels, MuteMassacres, BBoys, Mcgaffreys, Riannes, Hell Furbies, and Kaybees in Jade Coloured Glasses, and all the fun interesting people who kept me coming back here with their crazy ideas and insights, and to the One all-knowing MikeJonas and his incredible knowledge of everything BR. Thanks all.

I know we've all grown up and I know we've all moved on. But, for all those thoughts shared here, all those awesome moments in time, seriuosly, thank you all.

Beautifully said, Zig. 

Parting is such bittersweet sorrow. It's a shame this board hasn't been what it used to be for so long, but I'm grateful to have become a part of it when I did. Thanks for making me feel like less of a weirdo for being so captivated by a movie about teenagers slaughtering one another. I'm very, very happy to have met most of you.

Oh my God! I have only just realised that this is happening! I...honestly can't believe it. I've been here nearly 13 years, and okay so there have been gaps, but fundamentally I've never left.

I've met quite a few of the regulars on this board in person over the years, and I have so many memories and experiences as a result.

I'm honestly gutted that it's finally ending. I suppose it makes a lot of sense, but I had every intention of checking in here every now and again even years from now.

Thank you so much, one and all. I consider myself Super Lucky to have been a part of it.
