Filming Locations

A couple of filming locations are:

1. Where Noriko and Kitano are eating popsicles on the river is just east of the Shukugawara Dam, Tama River, Tama-ku, Kawasaki-shi. The camera is on the Tokyo-to side of the river and the viewpoint is to the southwest. This is only about 1.5 km downstream (southeast) from where the opening scene of the film Stacy (2001) (aka Stacy: Attack of the Schoolgirl Zombies) was filmed.

2. End scenes in Tokyo are in Shibuya-ku, incl. Shibuya Crossing.
