what do you think of this event?

A year late...

I just watched it. Not one of the best--but far from the worst. A little flat.

High points: Whoopi's win, Myrna Loy (though it was too little, too late), and Sophia Loren. Also, the montage of people talking about the films that influenced them.

Low points: None.

The Oscars? Honestly I think it is garish and disgusting but also irresistible.
