Soundtrack Song Question

I was wondering if anyone could tell me the name of the song on the soundtrack which plays in the show usually when it looks like Gene is going to lose a fight but then comes back. I believe it is a guitar playing and the song if only a few notes and it isnt a intense song. If anyone knows what this song is called on the soundtrack it would be great help. If i can remember a episode in which it played it will post the episode name and number.

I think that the song that you must be talking about is the one which plays at the beginning of Episode 8 "Forced Departure" when Gene has been wounded and on several other episodes. That song is called "Desire". Hope tht helps.

If you are after the soundtrack, I dowloaded it at

it is WinRAR-ed, but you can download WinRAR on a 30day free trial, happy downloading.

Does anyone know what the piano song is that is played at the end of episode 20? I'm looking for someone else; is it "Gentle" from the first disc, "Tears" from disc one, or something else?

You sound like chapters from a self-help booklet! Prepare yourselves!

I believe the track you're thinking of is called "Change" on the second OST. (Track number 6 to be exact...) There's one other harmonica track that's called "Breeze" (track number 26 on the second OST). They're both slow and bluesy and make it sound like someone is going to die. It should be one of those.

There's a site called Galbadia Hotel which features a lot of anime and video game soundtracks for download, under the provision that they're not available in the US. (In other words, if you could easily get all of these soundtracks legitmately stateside, they wouldn't be posting them.) I found the Outlaw Star OSTs there and the quality is really good. You can also preview the tracks if you're looking for one in particular vs. the whole soundtrack.

Hope that helps.

It's "I do" not "Whatever she says!"
