"Sorry son, but I want you to live!"

LOL. I've been slowly progressing through this show (in English dubbing, though the last half on my computer is only in Japanese for some strange reason--not that I have a problem with reading subtitles), and I found that part of Gene's flashback so funny for some reason. Anybody else unintentionally laugh at that every time it came up in the series?
