Timeline and Shi-eun's last words to Hyo-shin

I read on this board somewhere that in the diary that comes with the 6-disc uncut edition there was a time line for the movie.

I have watched Memento Mori yesterday, which was the third time, but even though I paid attention throughout the entire movie, I still lost track of the chronological order of the events in the movie.

I would be grateful if anyone had a translation of the time line (or could make one on their own?)it would make the movie a lot easier to figure out.

A thing I really don't understand is when Hyo-shin and Shi-eun talk with each other on the roof before Hyo-shin commits suicide. The first part of their conversation we see first in the movie, Shi-eun seems friendly towards Hyo-shin and just some moments before in the nurse office, she said that she had missed Hyo-shin. But in the end of the movie when we see the 'other part' of their conversation, Shi-eun insults Hyo-shin and says that she doesn't care if she kills herself, but that COULD just be empty words she said to make it clear to Hyo-shin that she won't be with her at school, because of the lack of acceptance from their classmates.

But then you hear her thoughts that says something like 'Hyo-shin you are terrible, I have never hated you before, but from now on I'll hate you forever'. I just don't understand why she suddenly hates her that much - it just doesn't make sense to me. Can anyone explain it to me?

First of all, this is just my opinion as you can see this movie is pretty much open to your own interpretations.

"A thing I really don't understand... lack of acceptance from their classmates. "

I agree with the way you see it, that Shi-eun won't be with Hyo-Shin while they were in school. However, when they were outside, it's ok.

To add on to what your opinion, I've noticed that Hyo-shin tried to kiss Shi-eun during the 'other part' of the conversation, only to be pushed away. IMO, Shi-eun did not mind being together with Hyo-shin, outside of school at least. However, Shi-eun was not ready to take this relationship to the next level, where some form of intimacy (eg kissing on the lips) was involved. Hyo-shin's all-out display of affection seemed to make Shi-eun uncomfortable.

My timeline for this portion of the movie:
1. Hyo-shin asked if they could start all over again.
2. Shi-eun agreed.
3. Hyo-shin hugged her.
4. (Not shown in the movie but my opinion on how the scenes joined together) While hugging, Hyo-shin attempted to kiss Shi-eun.
5. (Not shown in the movie but my opinion on how the scenes joined together) Shi-eun got uncomforatble.
6. Pushed Hyo-shin away, telling her no, everyone in school would see, bla bla bla.

I can't help you with the second part either. I am as confused as you are.
