I'm looking for something that would be similar to the aforementioned In terms of atmosphere (something as grim and bleak with contributing OST and beautiful cinematography) and emotional content (human relationships, affection, etc., not just horror!).
I remember Kokuhaku being pretty similar, but that's all I could come up with.
