Anyone else notice...

That visually this film rips off 'The Sixth Sense' constantly. Granted the story is completely different, but some of the shots actually had me laughing because they're so similar. The static cuts between viewpoints, the hand-held segments, even a shot of a washing machine reminded me.

Even so, I enjoyed the film. Creepy and short enough to stay interesting. Nice region 2 (French) DVD with English subs. Wonder if this will ever be released in the U.S.?

Unlike you remembering THE SIXTH SENSE and THE SHINING, believing that french filmimg can only immitate USA, I would like to object and say that I found in this movie the cheap copy of Polanky's The tenant (1974-Le locataire); the same atmosphere, abrupt ghostly images and living human behaviour suddenly affected by the ghostly mesmerism, as in the paradigms of a dream. Only that cheap, badly stated, sometimes badly performed and meaningless.
I would like to think of a reasonable fact that would lead the ghosts to possess the inspector's children, considering they live anywhere else but the misterious flat. Maybe because he feels suspicious?
I noticed Marianne having a problem with her eyes, cataratas, I think. What it has to do with her doing a check up after stealing a perfume, only the devil knows.
And whatever happened to Pierre, the baby, did she drown him because of being depressed, or she got depressed afterwards?
Could this movie be worse? Yes, had it been longer.
