So why was Seattle chosen as the meeting location?


Of all places, why Seattle? They should've expected so many thousands of people to show up from all over? WHy not hold the conference in say, Nashville (no offence to TN)

I think Dallas was one of the other proposed locations for the meeting. History may have been different had it been held in Texas.

Because, despite your claims of :thousands", they knew the only way they'd get more than a dozen people to show up to their little beerputsch would be to hold it in an epicenter of Regressive stupidity and totalitarianism-fetishizing, like Seattle or San Francisco.
