When was the added footage actually filmed?

The footage of CID agents Vic and Toni were obviously tacked on years later in order to lengthen the feature for television. Although many uninformed sources have said that this footage was filmed "in the late 60s" to me it actually looks "early 70s." Check out the automobiles and Vic's hairstyle.
I wouldn't be surprised if this was actually from 1970 or 1971.

Anyone know for sure?

If you get the amazon collection of "drive-in cult classics" Vol. 2 with a fine DVD transfer, you get a booklet which states:

"Exactly when the new footage was added is unclear. Hulette began cutting trailers for Crown in 1970 and started re-editing films for them around 1972. The earliest mention of the film under its Hitler title appears to be a TV listing in the Los Angeles Times from December 1976."

They Saved Hitler's Brain(1963) is like The Blacksheep Affair(1998). It tried to be a thinking man's action movie and failed. It portrays Germans and Latinos as stereotypes. The cinematography by Stanley Cortez was the best thing about the film.
