I thought that wigh Jason Leigh on board, Stealing Harvard would have some guaranteed laugh factor. But once I saw that it was directed by Kids in the Hall alumnus Bruce McCollugh (spelling?) , my doubts ran high. It seemed to me that Stealing Harvard was funny in all the places it didn't intend to be funny. Tom Green occasionally delivers his trademark whacked out humor. Perhaps its worth a rental for some college kids in a drunken stuper.
Jason Lee blows. At least Tom Green and Leslie Mann were in this, otherwise I'd never see it. In any event, this movie continues a streak of BAD movies with Jason Lee in them. Big Trouble, Kissing a Fool, the Kevin Smith crap, etc.
He did have a bit part in "Enemy of the State" and that was an okay movie, though.
Kevin Smith is one of the greatest directors at the moment! mallrats chasing amy clerks dogma jay and silent bob strikes back
all excellent movies. I haven't seen stealing harvard yet but Jason Lee and Tom Green in a movie together...it has to be good. i suppose you have to be smart and have a sense of humour to like kevins movies so if you dont maybe its cos you're a stupid f*****g retard!
i watch this film a few days ago and its soooooo funny!. how can anyone not like this. Tom Green is the funniest comedian in the world. Watch freddy got fingered. Only losers dont likethis film!!
Anyway, Tom Green and Jason LEE did well with the craptacular script they were given. The comedy (other than some of the Tom Green comedy) is tired and dull and so is the storyline... very dissapointing.
