This was an XLNT movie!

Wow. They did a very good job with this movie! I liked the way they showed how close everyone in the freak show was behind the scenes, while they really hyped up their differences onstage. For example: Tara was everyone's friend backstage, but once she got into the cage the "handlers" and ringmaster (Harley) act as though she'll kill them. (I'm not spoiling anyone's movie here, folks!) Although I haven't done any in-depth research on the topic of freak shows, this seems pretty accurate from what I do know about them.

Harley (Tim Curry) really impressed me. He was the freaks' father, friend, agent, advocate, etc. A scene that hasn't left me: the Baby Room. WTG. Good stuff.
