anyone else find this hysterically funny?

just wondering. i know i was continuously laughing during the film. it goes to show what happens when parodies go right. :)

Mostly laughed at the foul-mouthed boss. But the dialog was funny in some places.

As a huge fan of Shawshank, I wanted to check it out to see what it was. I was laughing through out the entire movie. This must be one of the best spoof movies that I have seen in a long time. I encourage all Shawshank fans to watch it they won't be disappointed.

funniest thing EVER it's so funny omg..especially when the boss said..i'm gonna dig our your mothers skeleton...and when "morgan freeman's" character said...i was so excited i could barely sit still or hold a thought in my head...also...i couldn't really see..cuz...the sun was in my eyes...HAAAAAAAAAH

yeah... i just saw this on the sundance channel, and didn't know the name of it until like halfway through when i checked the info on my tv - but by then, i already knew it was a spoof on shawshank. definitely shows how well they did it - it seems it would have been hard, what with an completely different setting... but they captured the mood amazingly well, portraying the whole feel of shawshank

It was funny with the "Maybe he wanted to get back at his *beep* boss".

Yes, this was an excellent tribute to Shawshank ... captured it perfectly. And having Morgan's son in the lead was fantastic. I applauded when I was sitting in my living room after seeing it the first time...

Lol this short was hilarious. My favorite part was when Fred leaves and writes on the wall...hahahaha

When I saw that a short comedy spoof called "The Sharktank Redemption" was included in the 2-disc set, I thought it was a cartoon movie (something like Finding Nemo, with sharks or fish as Andy and Red) and thought, "Meh...". However, when I played it I was very surprised and thoroughly enjoyed it. Damn hilarious. It was also great to see Morgan Freeman's son Alfonso playing him, and he's also seen in The Shawshank Redemption (new fish arrival scene and young Red's mugshot), so that's interesting.

I found it to be amazingly funny, and I think Morgan's son is fabulous. Very clever and well written. The writer has a good grasp of basic comic elements. It was all there for me.

Pretty good. I thought a couple parts were hysterically funny. (Alfonso's bang on impersination of his father at the first parole/promotion meeting; the mouthy boss' comments.) It was a good length. Any more would have been too much as most of it was an entire quote from Shawshank with "walls" changed to "cubicles" etc etc. But maybe that's what sets it apart from most spoofs. A lot of spoofs are often irrelevant in their scenes. Sharktank, perhaps a bit too relevant. But essentially it was all there. I hope the authour doesn't make a rebuttal addressing me:|

7/10

Great work by Alfonso Freeman.

No full-length movie parody has anything on this gem. From the washed-out color scheme mimicking Shawshank, to Alfonso's dead-on imitation of his father (I realize that's been said many times, but it really is the best part of this film, especially when he says, "Stop it, Randy, just stop it."), to the perfect recreation of life in an office, this piece is a work of genius.
