Witches?

I was just wondering if the witches where in this movie? I started to read the summary, and noticed that it didn't mention them at the begining. And, if they are there, how are they updated into a modern time?

I believe the hippies are the witches.

Yeah the three hippies played by Andy Dick, Timonthy Levitch and Amy Smart are based on Mcbeth's witches. I love the scene at the beginning where they're reciting foul is fare stoned!

"Sometimes you animals forget there's a *beep* lady in the room"

Thanks a lot. That's an interesting update of the witches. This move looks good!

The movie starts with the witches/stoners chatting in a ferris wheel, completely wasted, at a carnival.

-Who dropped the chicken?
-I would have eaten that.
-It was foul.
-The fowl was foul.
-And the fair was fair.
-Foul's fair.
-The fair is foul.
-My ass hurts.
-I don't think that one works.

I think they're actually my favorite part of the adaptation.
