Can anyone suggest me some similiar john malkovich's movies

This movie is really good, mostly thanks to malkovich's charisma. I really loved this movie, I was just wondering, if you could suggest other similiar kind of movies from malkovich to me.

Or if you have loved this movie, what others malkovich movies you have liked. Can't get enough of him.

Sorry for bad english..

yes malkovich was really good in this movie. if you want to see him in other creepy seductive roles I would recommend Dangerous Liaisons and Mary Reilly. I liked him alot in The Line of Fire too, he´s very creepy in that one.

reply

Aah I've thought about seeing dangerous liaisons. Thanks, maybe now I finally will watch it.

He's brilliant in Rounders, somehow he manages to make eating biscuits seem sinister. Interestingly he plays against another Ripley, Matt Damon.

reply

YEAH, that movie I saw. Excellent, it was great.. I've always wanted malkovich say "Want a cookie?"

HAHA! yes he makes it seem very intimidating.

I'm a creation. A gifted improviser.

"the sheltering sky" remains one of the watershed john malkovich performances committed to film....

reply

Not really similar to this, but he takes the piss out of his persona in 'Being John Malkovic'.

reply

He was in that jewel thief movie....right?

reply

I didn't even know there was a movie of The Sheltering Sky... let alone one starring John Malkovich. One more thing to look into! I love the book by Paul Bowles.

reply

his character is very manipulative in the portrait of a lady

reply

He plays the same role in every single movie, so take your pick.

This movie reminded me of "The Object of Beauty," a largely forgotten early 90s film with Malkovich and Andie MacDowell.

Dude means nice guy. Dude means a regular sort of person.

Other Malkovich movies: I've got 2 that I don't see in this list.

It's not as sophisticated, maybe, but he plays a really good bad guy in "In the Line of Fire" with Clint Eastwood.

And I have a soft spot for "Con Air", where Malkovich is a more blatant sort of bad guy - but I can't exactly call it a good movie. I enjoy it, though, despite somewhat silly roles for Nicholas Cage and John Cusack. Steve Buscemi is pretty good alongside John Malkovich, but the emphasis is on Nicholas Cage - which is a shame because it's the worst part of the movie. But if you really want to see John Malkovich, do watch "Con Air", IMO he makes it worthwhile. Kind of like Tommy Lee Jones in "Under Siege".
