Am I the only person who thought the animation in this movie was WORSE than the tv series? It was especially bad at the end with the 3D pan around the school. Also, I'd have to say the flashback to the 60's with principal prickly was perhaps the most clichéd portrayal of the 1960's I've ever seen.

Parts were bad, the 3D backgrounds looked bad and lacking in detail and didn't mesh with the 2D characters. Most of the time it was on the TV level of animation and was ok. The clichéd portrayal of the '60s is because they were drawn to look like famous '60s characters. Same with putting Gus in the "Patton" outfit, it's just a reference to another movie, Recess does it all the time. Although the '60s almost seemed too far to flash back, is Prickly supposed to be in his 60s? I thought he was 40-something. Making him and Finster the same age seemed a little wrong.
Actually they've mentioned at least once in the show that Prickly and Finster were about the same age. Remember the episode when Prickly almost got a job at another school? Ms. Finster was upset because they've been working together for awhile.
