I enjoyed this Movie - spoilers

It's not the greatest movie but it has parts in it that i truly love about watching a movie. Below are a few.


The "out of nowhere" aspect that knocks you off your feet. - John Klein first meets Gordon, even rewatching i'm still taken back.

The creepy scene that stays with you for years. - Older lady telling her story about looking out the window and seeing the Mothman. I still think of that scene every time i look out the window at night, wondering if i'll see the Mothman.

It's not a sci-fi but is a sci-fi movie. - It plays like a drama about a man who lost his wife to a brain tumor but your taken down a strange and dark path on him dealing with the loss.

Personal attachment - i grew up close to point pleasant so some how it makes it more real knowing the place and the story behind it.

There are some slow parts and as i mentioned it's not the greatest movie but, at least to me, it's always worth a rewatch a few times a year.
