I loved this when I was a kid.
It's not a good movie, but it was about a boy that reminded me a lot of myself that went on an adventure to redeem himself, which really appealed to me.

I first saw it when I was 9 when it came out in 2002. I'm 22 now, and I still have lots of fun watching it from time to time.
In my opinion, it's one of those feel-good movies that knows what it is and doesn't take itself too seriously. I think the best thing about it is that it doesn't try to be something that it's not.
I agree. I feel very nostalgic about it, especially since it's centered around Universal Studios backlot. I used to spend every other Saturday there when I was young. But it's a movie that always seems to put me in a better mood.
